Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with professionalism and care
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and fuel procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain school bus certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to manage student safety
- Flexibility for early morning and afternoon shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
