Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Report maintenance issues and student incidents
- Complete daily trip logs and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio CDL with passenger endorsement
- Clear driving record (no major violations)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with children preferred
