Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction debris, soil, and aggregates to designated sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and daily maintenance checks to ensure vehicle compliance
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient route planning and timing
- Report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 1 year experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and securement procedures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexible availability during weekday hours (20-30 hrs/week)
