Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and client locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for shipments
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance and mechanical soundness
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Southern California geography
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
