Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Sacramento and the greater Central Valley area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients with a professional demeanor and handling packages with the utmost care.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety standards of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify and accurately record delivery information, including signatures and digital proof of delivery (POD).
- Navigate efficiently using advanced GPS and route-planning software to optimize delivery routes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for logging deliveries and accessing digital paperwork.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as required by business needs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
