Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on assigned routes throughout DC and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload merchandise securely using proper equipment and techniques
- Adapt routes in real-time using GPS technology to optimize efficiency
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation systems
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
