About the Role
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various commercial and residential locations. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who take pride in their work and represent our brand with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently using standard handling equipment.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes according to strict time schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery sites to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Handle minor customer service inquiries and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in a logistics or delivery capacity.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Strong knowledge of the San Jose, CA area and local road networks.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and navigation systems.
