Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport goods to various client locations across the Sacramento area while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe, operational condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, logs, and mileage reports.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License: Must be current and in good standing.
- Clean Driving Record: No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and basic English proficiency.
