Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to local and regional destinations efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo safely using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service during every stop and handle billing inquiries professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
