Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Oakland's diverse neighborhoods
- Load/unload merchandise efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain clean vehicles and perform routine safety inspections
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse team to resolve delivery discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Oakland geography and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with mobile delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
