Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following NYC traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently plan and execute multi-stop routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns preferred
