Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations throughout Miami-Dade County
- Plan and optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and inventory documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or equivalent
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route optimization software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
