Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods across San Antonio metropolitan area
- Maintain precise delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Load/unload merchandise with care to prevent damage
- Complete delivery documentation and proof-of-service forms
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
