Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Philadelphia's diverse neighborhoods efficiently
- Load/unload inventory with precision while maintaining product integrity
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial stops
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records
- Collaborate with dispatch to resolve route disruptions proactively
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation and reporting
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- CDL certification is a plus but not required
