Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on scheduled routes throughout Louisville metro area
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory control
- Resolve customer inquiries and delivery exceptions proactively
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Louisville geography and surrounding counties
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in varying weather conditions
- Basic math proficiency for inventory verification
- Pass background check and drug screening
