Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials on assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
