Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on established routes across Kansas City metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for inventory and delivery documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Kansas City area geography preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
