Responsibilities
- Perform daily route delivery of commercial and retail products to designated customers in the Jacksonville area.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery, verifying receipts and obtaining proper signatures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic mileage records in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely using hand-trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B (Class A preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly over the course of a shift.
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with GPS and delivery management software.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
