Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to designated routes across Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests and customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve any delivery issues
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on real-time conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville geography and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning software
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL certification required
