Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across Los Angeles metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class C) or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Fluent English communication skills
