Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and parcels using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any issues on-site.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including PODs and logs, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of route driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekends.
