Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload cargo from delivery vehicles using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Verify inventory and prepare accurate delivery documentation (Bills of Lading).
- Follow planned routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Keep the delivery vehicle organized and secure at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to use GPS systems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and potential overtime.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
