Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Load/unload merchandise efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during point-of-delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with Boston metropolitan area geography
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory verification
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
