Responsibilities
- Safely operate refrigerated delivery vehicles on assigned Chicago metro routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory tracking
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Build strong relationships with retail partners through exceptional service
- Adapt routes dynamically to optimize delivery efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP)
- Represent MetroFresh Logistics with professionalism at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area roadways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Basic inventory management and customer service skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4-5 AM)
