Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks (box trucks or vans) on predetermined routes
- Load/unload products using pallet jacks and dollies
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Fresno area and surrounding communities
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
