Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated stops on the route.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR), mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, handling any complaints or issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company driving policies at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to present a professional image.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and be insurable.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Fresno, CA, and regional roadways.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and time-management abilities.
