Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated Charlotte metro routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling protocols and documentation
- Optimize daily routes for efficiency using GPS and route-planning tools
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory records
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte metro area geography
- High school diploma or equivalent required
