Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to commercial and residential customers on established routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report mechanical issues.
- Load and unload merchandise using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Manage and reconcile cash and credit card transactions accurately at the time of delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging duties and handling delivery paperwork.
