Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of goods to designated routes.
- Verifying delivery addresses and obtaining signatures upon completion of each stop.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Performing daily vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and route planning.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
