Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Greater Boston area.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling and security of cargo.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Interact with customers professionally, ensuring accurate delivery and handling of payments.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and mapping technology to ensure on-time performance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule availability.
