Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling to ensure product integrity.
- Verify delivery accuracy against manifests and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area, adhering to company appearance standards.
- Resolve delivery issues on-site professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or route logistics preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
