Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport goods to designated locations within Baltimore metro area
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles before/during routes and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload shipments with proper lifting techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills in Baltimore urban/suburban areas
- Basic proficiency with handheld delivery tracking devices
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible availability for early morning/late afternoon shifts
