As a Route Driver, you are the face of our company. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and treat every customer interaction with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport freight to designated customer locations within the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- Interact with customers in a polite and professional manner to ensure satisfaction with every delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, bills of lading, and daily paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and a drug screen.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with standard navigation tools, GPS, and mobile applications.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.
