Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on assigned routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS technology to optimize delivery schedules and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Inspect vehicles daily, report maintenance needs, and ensure cleanliness and operational readiness
- Load/unload merchandise with proper equipment and secure loads to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on traffic or delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual pallet jacks
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area roadways and traffic patterns
