Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions or delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent route familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Proficient with mobile technology for route navigation and delivery tracking
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
