Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to commercial and residential locations
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload goods with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of Detroit metro area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
