Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods along designated routes
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care using proper equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time delivery while adhering to schedules
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) with clean record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate manual/electric pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging and tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be available for flexible hours including early mornings
