Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate optimized routes across Columbus metropolitan area
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and collections
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving or route delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Columbus roadways and surrounding counties
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training preferred
