Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods across designated Los Angeles routes
- Load/unload shipments with precision using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic math proficiency for delivery documentation
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend shifts
