Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to commercial and residential locations efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of all packages.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain DOT compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every stop, resolving issues professionally.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Fresno, CA geography and delivery routes.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficient in using handheld delivery scanners and GPS navigation systems.
