Responsibilities
- Provide safe, courteous transportation to riders via CityRide Connect app
- Maintain clean, presentable vehicle at all times
- Optimize routes using real-time navigation tools
- Complete 20-40 weekly trips to maintain active status
- Report maintenance issues immediately through our driver portal
- Adhere to all Bakersfield municipal traffic regulations
- Participate in quarterly safety recertification programs
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with 3+ years clean record
- Smartphone proficiency with reliable internet connection
- Ability to pass background check and vehicle inspection
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Basic smartphone navigation skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Reliable availability during peak hours (5am-9am, 4pm-10pm)
