Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment for material transport and construction projects
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for efficient load/unload operations
- Manage route planning and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
- Document and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
- Maintain clean equipment and work areas in compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks and heavy machinery
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for equipment operation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
