Responsibilities
- Driver Sourcing: Utilize digital platforms and social media to actively recruit qualified Entry Level CDL drivers in the Boston area and nationwide.
- Schedule Management: Coordinate driver assignments, load bookings, and route planning remotely to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding policy updates, pay inquiries, and safety compliance.
- Documentation: Accurately process driver applications, background checks, and motor carrier authority documentation.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with shippers and brokers to ensure high utilization of our driver network.
- Training & Onboarding: Guide new hires through the onboarding process and ensure they understand our company culture and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Ready: No prior logistics or driving experience necessary; we train from scratch.
- Remote Setup: Must have a dedicated home workspace with high-speed internet and a quiet environment.
- CDL Knowledge: Basic understanding of CDL Class A & B requirements is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new dispatch software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, problem-solving attitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including potential evenings and weekends.
