Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement and conflict resolution
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatchers
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and district policies
- Utilize our mobile app for route updates and remote check-ins
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and medical incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience with clean driving record
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse age groups
- Reliable transportation to depot locations
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, afternoons, occasional weekends)
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and scheduling apps
