Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional freight transportation
- Utilize remote dispatch systems for real-time route optimization and delivery coordination
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with remote logistics team for load planning and customer communication
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage digital documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Participate in home-based training and virtual team meetings
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and digital navigation systems
- Ability to work independently with remote team coordination
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for regional travel and occasional overnight stays
