Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently using owner-operated box trucks within California and Southwest regions
- Manage route planning, loading/unloading, and delivery documentation via remote portal
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, including Hours of Service and vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team through remote communication systems for real-time updates
- Optimize fuel efficiency and vehicle maintenance to maximize profitability
- Build client relationships through professional on-site service delivery
- Submit daily logs and paperwork through our mobile app from any location
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Personal box truck (24-26ft) in excellent mechanical condition
- Proven experience in freight delivery, local/regional routes preferred
- Proficiency with digital dispatch apps and remote administrative tools
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Business license and insurance coverage (provided upon hire)
