Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local/regional deliveries within Florida and Southeastern US
- Manage end-to-end logistics including loading, unloading, and documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while maximizing fuel efficiency
- Utilize digital platforms to track shipments and communicate with dispatch
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance inspections and preventative care
- Build client relationships through professional service and reliability
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Personal box truck (26' or larger) in DOT-compliant condition
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity for remote operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and customer service skills
