Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for regional deliveries within North Carolina
- Optimize delivery routes using our digital dispatch platform while working remotely
- Complete accurate paperwork including BOLs, trip logs, and delivery confirmations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Coordinate with dispatch team to meet tight delivery windows and service standards
- Track expenses and mileage for efficient financial management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M, cargo $100K)
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' or larger) in good mechanical condition
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps and digital dispatch tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
