Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Manage route efficiency to meet delivery timelines
- Report maintenance issues and participate in vehicle upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of Pittsburgh-area roadways and infrastructure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
