Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for freight transportation across designated routes
- Plan and optimize delivery schedules remotely using digital fleet management tools
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients via remote communication systems
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading procedures at various locations
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management software
- Strong remote communication skills via phone/video platforms
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
